Puppy Class Week 2 Highlights 19.6.13
Instead of being cooped up inside the riding school I decided to take things outside into the real world. Lots of different smells, distractions and of course other dogs.
Both Drake and Jessie did amazingly, I couldn't be more pleased with both of their progress and its only week 2!!
Holly and Gemma 17.6.2013
Holly (A Welsh Sheepdog) and Gemma (An Australian Shepard) are both fantastic dogs. Holly is a confident dog with no real issues however very little is known about the first year of Gemma's life and consequently she can be very nervous at times and reactive to other dogs.
In our 1-2-1 session I decided the best course of action was to take both girls on a normal walk so I could see Gemma in her normal environment.
The first few dogs we came across Gemma was very reactive, barking and lunging towards the other dogs. By the end of the walk we had no reaction at all. Gemma sat perfectly paying full attention to her dad John.
